WHY MEDITATING WITH MANTRAS?

When I started meditating, almost twenty years ago, 

I felt sitting still and silently just wasn't for me! Even though I was trying really hard and received teachings from the most qualified Masters in the Buddhist Tradition, I kept struggling with my 'monkey mind'. All the others looked so peaceful, but not me! 

 

Sometimes I had glimpses of this silent, vast and empty space within, but soon I was distracted and my attention was jumping all over again with memories from the past or projecting the future. But every time I did a 'Puja' (spiritual practice or Sadhana) which involves visualization and mantra recitation, the experience was very different! I would just naturally and effortlessly merge with the sound and experience calm and peace while being in the present moment.

I found out this was actually another form of meditation too! Ever since Mantra meditation has been part of my daily life and it helped me go through many difficult and challenging times, with much grace, and sometimes even transforming the entire situation. 

 

Mantra medittion is a very practical and powerful tool to center your mind, supported by these sacred vibrations bringing healing, blessings and awakening to your true nature. You can chant, whisper, or repeat it silently. Whatever works!  I will be sharing some precious mantras here that I specially composed to meditate, so the length and number of repetition are designed to serve your practice and meet your needs.

RA MA DA SA MEDITATION 

 Mantra for Healing

Learn to awaken your own healing power by chanting the mantra Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung. These eight sounds stimulate the flow of the vital force along the spine by channeling the energies of the sun, moon, earth, and the Universe to bring deep healing to yourself, others and the world. GANESHA MEDITATION

for removing obstacles and abundance 

This is a very powerful mantra to remove obstacles on your path and to bring blessings, abundance and prosperity to your life. This is a 108 repetition version of the mantra that is very suitable to meditate, recite and relaxation. You can do it whenever you need to call upon this protective energy or as a 21 day practice to experience full benefits.

HAR MUKANDAY MEDITATION

for liberation and removing fear

Har comes for the word Hari – means God, and also comes for Hara which means the remover. Mukanday refers to the liberating aspect of the self. This mantra is great for transforming challenges into opportunities! It can remove fear, and give you the courage to follow your heart. This is a very energizing meditation, ideal to begin your day with confidence and manifesting your radiance while chanting: HAR HAR MUKANDAY
